For more on Sophie Beem:

New York City Alpha girl, 17-year-old Sophie Beem has no qualms about delivering hard-hitting rhymes that strafe her U.E.S. turf.  She illustrates her New York stories with swagger intact, churning those tougher adolescent moments into a transcendent songwriting diary that sets her apart from her pop peers. It’s that emotional edge – and that voice – that first turned heads at Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment, when an impromptu showcase at their Manhattan headquarters in the Fall of 2014 prompted the entire office to drop what they were doing and gather to applaud Sophie.  Now, Sophie Beem is one of three inspiring artists signed by the mega-star Beyoncé. Sophie Beem burst onto the scene originally as a contestant on X Factor at the tenderfoot age of 13. Simon Cowell even praised her saying, “She was born to do this.” She wasn’t chosen to advance past the mentored 40 finalists, but it gave the starlet her first taste of the unpredictable grind of show business.

Now ready to conquer, this riveting teen has already delivered rallying cries like “Skyline,” “I Got It” and “Girls Will Be Girls” that are all scorching rhythmic tracks and hint to a songwriting depth that contradict her age. Sophie Beem has recently released her first EP, appropriately self-titled. And as a performer, she’s growing quickly, especially following her tour with singer/songwriter Charlie Puth and after opening for her mentor Beyoncé on the already historic Formation World Tour.

Sophie is working on her debut album due out on Parkwood/Columbia later this year.
