#BTS And UNICEF USA Conduct Pledge Ceremony

Following BTS’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly on September 24th, BTS and UNICEF USA joined together at a pledge ceremony on behalf of their global-spanning ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign. Each member of BTS and Big Hit Entertainment COO Jinhyung Lee were in attendance at the momentous event at the Park Hyatt Hotel, along with UNICEF USA President and CEO Caryl M. Stern. The ceremony signified BTS’ commitment to help end violence against children around the world.

BTS has always used their music to speak out on the trials and tribulations of today’s youth. In September 2017, BTS revealed their LOVE YOURSELF album series, which centered on the message of loving each other by loving yourself first. Shortly after, BTS used these same beliefs to launch the ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign. In November 2017, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment joined forces with the Korean Committee for UNICEF to support UNICEF’s #ENDviolence campaign. The #ENDviolence campaign seeks to protect children and teens across the globe from violence of any kind, and promotes their continued message of ‘LOVE MYSELF’.

From September 24 to October 15, fans will be able to donate to the ‘LOVE MYSELF’ campaign at www.unicefusa.org or by  texting ‘BTSLM’ to 864233 to contribute a $10 donation.
