Christian Bales Visits Colorado Shooting Victims

On Tuesday, Actor, Christian Bale of the latest trilogy of Batman films, visited victims of last week’s deadly shooting that occurred at a midnight screening of his film “The Dark Knight Rises,” at a hospital in Aurora, Colorado.

“Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Bros.,” an assistant to the studio’s executive VP Susan Fleishman told The Denver Post.

Bale visited survivor, Carey Rottman at the hospital. Later, Rottman posted a picture on Facebook along with a message stating, “Wow!!! Thank you so much for the visit Christian!! What a great guy! Still in shock!”

The Denver Post reported that Bale spent about two-and-a-half hours at the hospital visiting seven patients who suffered injuries at the theatre shooting.

Bale and his wife, Sibi Blazic remembered the deaths of innocent people whose life were taken, by visiting the memorial. Bale and his wife, arrived at the Aurora hospital by ambulance around 2p.m.

On Saturday, Bale released the following statement: “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”
