City on a Hill. IMDb pro-rating 7.3 with a 78% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, so it’s no surprise the city is Boston. Kevin Bacon is a hard-core badass FBI agent, who teams up with a morally straight, African American District Attorney, Aldis Hodge (exact opposites), to try and bring down some serial bank and Armored truck drivers, Jonathan Tucker, who are terrorizing the city, as well as the usual drug snitches and vengeful gangs. Jill Hennesey is a delightful surprise as the betrayed and vilified FBI wife, and Amanda Clayton is as much of as gangster as her husband, the bank robber. Lots of fun familiar faces popping up, and the action and dialogue is explosive. Totally Binge-Worthy for the East Coast 100 degree weekend!
