Despite some grumbling over Seth MacFarlane’s hosting endeavor, some critics referring to it as ‘juvenile’ (viewers spiked 11% in the 18-49 age group), the Academy has given the green light to Zadan and Meron to begin creating another great evening. Last years show drew an average audience of 40.3 million viewers, the most watched entertainment telecast in the last 3 years.

The Oscar Experience College Search will be an innovation of Zadan and Meron’s that they plan to bring back in 2014. Young filmmakers from around the globe get to assist with the dispersing of the Golden Statuette during the show, as well as getting to experience the behind the scene action of the industry.

Together, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have amassed 73 Emmy nominations, 7 Grammy nominations, 6 Oscars and a Tony.
