Dancing with the Stars – Season 16

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), is off and running, well maybe jogging. Many of the stars and dancers are new or unfamiliar.

The sets, costumes, music and special effects however are AAMAAZZZING!

When Pro Dancer Peta Murgatroyd, and partner, the Bachelor’s, Sean Lowe, began their dance, it was jump-started by a Holographic Pin Ball machine on the dance floor. WOW!

They dynamic of dancers is status quo. A third of the stars don’t have a chance, but their courage is admirable. Another third could surprise, and the balance are front runners for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Comediennes DL Hughley and Andy Dick will not be around for long, so enjoy the jokes while you can. Country star Wynonna Judd makes a valiant effort and brings legendary power to the ballroom with her mother Naomi, and sister Ashley, in the audience cheering her on. Real Housewife, Lisa Vanderpump is getting help from her little doggie.

Boxer Victor Ortiz, General Hospital veteran Ingo Rademacher, Gold Medal skater Dorothy Hamill, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones, and the Bachelor’s Sean Lowe – could all break out of the pack.

Derek and Kellie Pickler

Gold Medal gymnast Aly Raissman and American Idol country singer Kellie Pickler, are in the running for sure.

However, it was DWTS youngest contestant ever, the Disney Channel star of “Shake it Up”, Zendaya Coleman,  that took judges – Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Toniolli’s breath away.

Val.Zendaya

Greatly missed pro dancer Maxim Chmerkovskiy never won a Mirror Ball Trophy, but it looks pretty good that his brother Val, Zendaya’s partner,  probably will.
