Daniel Fleetwood, the terminally ill man who was the first to see the new Star Wars movie has passed.
Fleetwood was battling a rare form of cancer and had a short time to live. J.J. Abrams granted his wish to see the movie. He didn’t think he would make it to the opening of the movie.
Abrams and his crew arranged for him and his wife to see an unfinished cut last week in his home.
Daniel’s wife said, “Daniel put up an amazing fight to the very end. He is now with God and with the force.”
Daniel died in his sleep.
