It’s all about Halloween parties right now and the celebs are all over them. Recently Casamigos Tequila’s co-founder Mike Meldman hosted the “Dia De Los Muertos” Halloween bash at his home filled with celebs.
Decor elements were influenced by Casamigos and Caliche co-founder, Rande Gerber. Guests partied in an environment featuring custom painted skulls, gravestones, a photo-booth with oversize skull backdrop and shrines honoring the dead. Signature cocktails from Meldman, Gerber and Clooney’s award winning Casamigos Tequila along with a variety of specialty cocktails from Gerber’s award winning super premium white rum, Caliche, were served. A star studded crowd mingled while sipping on specialty cocktails including the Casamigos Mi Casa, Su Casa, Caliche Cali Gold and Cali Daiquiri. All were served over a custom built Casamigos bar, made from reconditioned Casamigos barrels.
Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford arrived as Axl Rose and Slash, Leonardo Dicaprio wore a black cape covering his face and arrived with close pal Lukas Haas,Cuba Gooding Jr. was dressed as Rande Gerber, wearing jeans and a Casamigos t-shirt and leather jacket, Larry David and his producer buddy Bradley Thomaswore the same XXXL cardigan sweater together and walked around as Siamese twins, others in full costume attire included; Alessandra Ambrosio, Brody Jenner, David Arquette, Derek Hough, Hillary Duff, Jeremy Piven, John Stamos, Kate Upton, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ryan Seacrest, Sascha Baron Cohen and Isla Fischer, Sean Penn, Stephanie Pratt, Tim Allen and Wayne Gretzky. Other notable attendees included Hollywood legend Jerry Weintruab, WME Co-CEO Patrick and Lauren Whitesell, Irena and Mike Medavoy and Angela and David Nazarian. Those not in costume included comedians Chelsea Handler and Aziz Ansari who sported fashionable knits.

Guests sipped on specialty Caliche Rum cocktails including the Cali Gold:
Cali Gold
2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
¼ oz Fresh Pineapple Juice
¾ oz Agave Nectar
3 – 6 Cilantro Leaves
Garnish: Cilantro Sprig
In a rocks glass, combine all ingredients and lightly muddle cilantro leaves. Top with crushed ice. Garnish with a cilantro sprig.
