Multi-platinum selling band Fall Out Boy’s highly-anticipated sixth studio album American Beauty/American Psycho is available now for pre-order on the band’s Webstore and iTunes. Fans will receive an instant download of three songs from the album with all pre-orders: smash-hit “Centuries,” UK single “American Beauty/American Psycho” and brand new track, “The Kids Aren’t Alright.”

“Centuries” has been certified platinum and the band will deliver a special performance of the track on The Voice finale, airing tomorrow night at 9/8c on NBC. “Centuries” can continue to be heard throughout ESPN’s coverage of the inaugural College Football Playoffs. The song has been streamed over 50 million times between YouTube and Spotify alone.

Additionally, the band will release a special video for title track “American Beauty/American Psycho” at 7:00PM EST tonight on VEVO. The song is available now on iTunes. The track samples iconic rock ‘n roll band Mötley Crüe’s “Too Fast For Love” and was produced by Ed Banger Records’ French electro DJ SebastiAn.

Says Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy:

“From Mötley Crüe, I figured it out: putting your heart in it is the most important part. They have always done what is authentic to them. Much of the frenetic energy of AB/AP comes from its Mötley Crüe sample.” Wentz continues, “Too Fast For Love was Mötley’s Take This to Your Grave – they made it themselves because no one was interested in signing a punk band wearing too much make up back then. Thirty five years later, they’re still selling out arenas and not playing by anyone’s rules. If there had been the Internet back then, they would’ve broken it.”

American Beauty/American Psycho will be released on January 20, 2015 on Island Records & DCD2 Records. It is the follow-up album to the band’s gold-certified fifth studio album Save Rock and Roll, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on iTunes in 27 countries upon its April 2012 release.

The band will ring in 2015 with a performance on Pitbull’s New Year’s Revolution, which airs live from Miami on December 31 on FOX from 8:00-10:00 PM EST (CST/MST/PST tape-delayed). Following local news, the special will return from 11:00 PM-12:30 AM EST (CST/MST/PST tape-delayed.)

Fall Out Boy has also written the song “Immortals,” featured in the Golden Globe-nominated Disney hit movie Big Hero 6, which topped the box office upon its November 7 release and has already surpassed $120 million at the domestic U.S. box office and topped $4 billion globally. Of the song, the Los Angeles Times writes, “With its larger-than-life digitally enhanced riffs, consider it the rock ‘n’ roll song as pep talk.”
