I had the privilege of speaking with Jennifer in a phone conversation. It was the first time I was ‘electrified’ by a personality that I wasn’t speaking to in person, all I can say is “WOW”.
I read that Aaron Kirman’s team ‘speaks truth to money’. What does that mean?
Jennifer Berman: People are often delusional about the value of their home. They over-price it and then it sits for months on the market, often without even one viewing. We KNOW the market, and we know people ready to purchase and what they are willing to spend. When we take on a client we aren’t afraid to be honest and tell them the actual value – take it or leave it.
I know you are active in the WOMANUP Organization. What is that?
Jennifer Berman: WomanUp is an activist network of women and allies, stepping up to fight for progressive causes and candidates. I work for changing the dynamics of women in the Real Estate industry. Our goal is to leverage the power of women to make progressive change, and we connect activists with organizations that help lead the charge on this front. I am also active in the #METOO movement and I mentor young female leaders as well as teaching Police Detective Cadets.
Being a three-time Cancer survivor is a miracle and big encouragement to others struggling with the diagnosis.
Jennifer Berman: I see the disease as a blessing. I am so fortunate and grateful for my recovery. I not only survived a double mastectomy, but I also survived a cancerous tumor on my heart! It proves that nothing is impossible, and keeping a positive attitude and a motion forward is imperative. We are establishing the Jennifer Berman Cancer Foundation to help people going through any type of Cancer. Helping them get to the Doctor, buying food, emotional support, and whatever else we can do to help.
Listing Impossible’s debut on January 15th was a huge success. Currently, the ratings are ahead of Shark Tank!
Jennifer Berman: We’re thrilled. We got an excellent review in USA Today and BRAVO and some of the streaming networks are anxious to pick us up.
