TRANCE follows the dangerous journey of Simon (James McAvoy), a fine art auctioneer, who teams up with a criminal gang to steal a priceless Goya painting. During the heist he suffers a blow to the head, and when he awakens he has no memory of where he hid the painting. After gang leader Frank (Vincent Cassel) gets heavy handed to no avail, he decides to hire Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson), a hypnotherapist, to delve into the Dark recesses of Simon’s subconscious.
