Fox’s popular limited series, cult drama Prison Break, is in the works for revival with new limited series installments.
Creator and executive producer of Prison Break, Paul Scheuring is interested in reviving Prison Break and says he has secured the creative voice critical to reviving the cult series, by coming up with a new idea for the next chapter.
The core of the story revolves around a man whose brother is wrongly convicted of murder and sent to Death row. He stages a bank robbery to be incarcerated in the same prison as his brother so they can implement an elaborate escape and prove his innocence.
Stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell have both acknowledged publicly that they would be thrilled to return for a limited-run installment. The idea focuses again on the brothers, possibly trading places, and possibly joined by a third character. Many original cast members are also on board to reprise their roles as cameos.
