According to reports, actor Harrison Ford was injured this week on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. More specifically, he hurt his ankle while filming a scene, and was consequently taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Disney’s spokesperson had this to say about the incident: Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII.’ He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates.
So there you have it. It will be interesting to see how long this keeps the iconic actor out of filming, as he’s obviously no spring chicken anymore at the age of 71. Here’s to hoping he recovers soon!!
