‘Incredibles 2’, ‘BlackkKlansman’, ‘Christopher Robin’, ‘Papillon’, on DVD – Nov. 6

The sequel to ‘The Incredibles’, and Spike Lee’s true story, ‘BlackkKlansman’, scored big at the box office.

Directed by Brad Bird. Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation of a lifetime. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group as the organization aims to sanitize its violent rhetoric to appeal to the mainstream.  Starring John David Washington, Adam Driver, Laura Harrier, Topher Grace, Jasper Paakkonen.

Once reunited, the lovable bear and the gang travel to the big city to help Christopher rediscover the joy of life. Papillon. DVD. Blue-ray. IMDB pro-rating 7.0. Directed by Michael Noer. A reboot of the epic story of Henri “Papillon” Charrière, a safecracker from the Parisian underworld who is framed for murder and condemned to life in the notorious penal colony on Devil’s Island. Determined to regain his freedom, Papillon forms an unlikely alliance with convicted counterfeiter Louis Dega, who in exchange for protection, agrees to finance Papillon’s escape. Charlie Hunnam and Rami Malik, star.
