Jennifer Lawrence won kudos for hair and make-up but her Dior gown was considered ‘too bulky’ and reminiscent of a ‘coffee filter’. Julia Roberts in Dolce & Gabanna was underwhelming, looking lovely but not like the Movie Star Hierarchy she should. Paula Patton was the hands down ‘Your Dress is a Mess’ winner with her overwhelming white ruffled Stephane Rolland Couture Gown..
Aussie beauty and star of The Wolf Of Wall Street 23-year-old Margot Robbie was stunning in Gucci. Said Joan, “If the slit was any higher on that dress the movie would be called ‘The Beaver of Beverly Hills”.
Taylor Swift wins high praise for her Carolina Herrera gown and funniest snapshot with Ryan Seacrest and Jennifer Lawrence.
Cate Blanchett, nominated for Best Actress in Blue Jasmine was regal and breathtaking in her Armani Prive Couture gown with plunging back.
Emma Watson looked Fresh and Edgy in Dior. Said Jaon, “Emma gives new meaning to the words ‘Smarty Pants’.”
Although the Police agreed Reese Witherspoon’s body was rockin’, the dress by Calvin Klein was a let down. Said Joan, “I’ve never seen a full-length sports bra on the Red Carpet before.”
Both Zoe Saldana and Sandra Bullock wore Prabal Gurung. Interesting, but no cigar.
Sofia Vergara was a knock-out in a Zac Posen Movie Star Gown and Lorraine Schwartz neck art piece.
