Red Wing. DVD. IMDB Pro-rating 7.7. This endearing love story, from the book by George Sand, centers around an orphan boy and the family who adopts him. Overlooked and well worth watching. Luke Perry (from 90210) stars, along with Bill Paxton and Frances Fischer.

Heaven Is For Real. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 5.5. Based on a New York Times best-selling  true story by Todd and Sonja Burpo, a young boy has a near death experience and lives to tell the tale. Greg Kinnear stars along with Kelly Reilly and Jacob Vargas.

Blue Ruin. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.1. This film won the FIPRESCI, which is the Critics Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. I guess it never picked up a distributor but it’s available now. It’s a mystery/thriller, packed with suspense about an outsider who returns to his small town for revenge and to protect his estranged family. Devin RaTray, Eve Plumb and Macon Blair star.

The Suspect. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.0. This North Korean thriller has plenty of action as Gony Yoo stars as a North Korean field agent who gets abandoned on the job and loses his wife and child in the process, he takes a job as a chauffeur for a powerful CEO and gets a chance for revenge.
