Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe to star in ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’

Arts channel Ovation has obtained the American rights to the U.K. hit, ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook ‘, that will star  Mad Men’s Jon Hamm,  and Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe. Radcliffe returns to his TV roots, he made his acting debut in the BBC remake of ‘David Copperfield’.

In the new Sky Arts project, Radcliffe will play a young Jon Hamm, in a story following Russian doctors in World War 1.

Based on Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov’s book of the same name, the four-part miniseries is a darkly humorous account of the experiences of a young doctor, told through the eyes of his mature, opiate-addicted self.
