Key & Peele‘s Jordan Peele transitioned from comedy to horror with the new film Get Out, which he wrote and directed. From the trailer, all I can say is, “holy shit!” This thing is creepy.
Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford co-star in this hair raising film.
The trailer begins with Kaluuya and Williams portraying Chris and Rose: a young, interracial couple preparing for Chris’ first meeting with Rose’s parents. He worries that his girlfriend has not prepared her parents, since they do not know that she is dating a black man yet. It all takes a horrible turn!
At their destination, Chris begins noticing the weird interactions with Rose’s parents — played by Keener and Whitford — and the Stepford-like existence of the black people employed by the older couple. A friend back home tells Chris that several black men have gone missing in the suburb he’s visiting before things begin to spiral out of control into a violent attempt for escape.
Get Out will be released on February 24th.
