Kathy Griffin is not one to let someone tell her what to do and then not say anything about it.
Kathy was on Howard Stern and spoke about leaving Fashion Police and all the outrage.
First off, Kathy was good friends with Joan Rivers. It was Melissa Rivers who came to her and asked to take over hosting Fashion Police. Kathy didn’t want to do it. She knew that she would never replace Joan and was told she could take it in her own direction.
After coming to the show she realized she couldn’t do her own thing and didn’t like where the show was going. Kathy is a big feminist and didn’t want to just trash the women and what they were wearing. Her comedy is telling stories and making fun of celebs weird behavior.
Howard Stern knows how to get a good interview. The interview with Kathy is great as usual.
