The Kings of Leon played to a sold out Hollywood Bowl Friday, October 3rd, their second to last tour stop.
The band gave the audience a special surprise when they brought out Coldplay front man Chris Martin. Chris played on piano for a very special and very rare performance of “Talihina Sky,” as part of the band’s hugely received “Song For the City” program.
Song for the City has the band playing one new song at each stop of their highly acclaimed Mechanical Bull Tour. The songs are selected based on fan request. Hollywood Bowl got a special song and a special guest with Chris Martin. Martin hung around to perform “Notion” with the band as well before heading off to watch the rest of the show side stage.
