The man is caught and put in prison, and as the woman starts to live life anew, she begins writing the man in prison – but the letters are always returned, so she visits him and they become friends. Her father disapproves, but when the man is released from he visits the woman and she gives him a job repairing her porch. She never lets him inside. But one day he begs to use the restroom and she complies. He ends up being tortured in the basement by the woman. Rosamund Pike, Nick Nolte and Shiloh Fernandez star.
