Shaun Weiss, who played Greg “Goldie” Goldberg in Mighty Ducks (1,2 and 3), is attempting to revive his showbiz career.
But first, he is asking for some help and he is turning to Kickstarter. According to his fundraising page, Weiss’ goal is to raise $21,000 by August 19th for “Back to the Map,” which will be a documentary based on his national stand-up comedy tour.
In the clip, the star tries to convince viewers to fund his project, which involves him meeting up with some of his long time fans.
“I’m offering some insane kind of rewards. Basically if you invest, your reward is me,” he insisted. “I will come to your house and you can shoot pucks at me.”
Weiss, looks almost unrecognizable in the clip. He has lost a ton of weight.
