I have dealt with quite a few celebrities over the past 10 years and I have to say Mo’Nique is a class act. I talked to her before the Pan African Film Festival. I wasn’t on the red carpet to interview her. I told her at the event and I thought ok well there’s that we will see.
As she was leaving the event she leaned over to me and told me that she is following me on Twitter and has my contact information and she will have her office contact me. Again, I thought ok we will see celebrities say that stuff all the time. Monday came and it was a holiday. She wrote me and said the office is closed it’s a holiday but I didn’t forget about you. My heart dropped. Then a day or so later I was in Vegas for the shoe show and my phone rang and it was her office to set up the interview.
Honestly, I was amazed! Like I said she is a class act. She was so genuine and truly a blessing to speak to.
