NBC’s ‘The Blacklist’ With James Spader And Megan Boone Has Been Picked Up For A Full Season

Blacklist renewed

The Blacklist is the first fall series to be picked up for a full season. Starring James Spader as Red Reddington, an FBI Most Wanted man, and Megan Boone as Elizabeth Keen, the rookie agent Red is mysteriously dedicated and loyal to. The Blacklist leads all  new contenders to the fall drama line-up averaging over 12 million viewers per episode.

Originally a 9 episode test pilot, NBC has signed on for a 22 episodes – a standard series, leaving Lizzie as the superhero foil for Red as he brings down the world’s most evil players. Last week we saw Red and Lizzie thwart Isabella Rossellini’s human trafficking enterprise (all the while disguised as a savior to the world’s exploited children), twisting the plot at her award gala presentation.

Jane Alexander has entered the series as head of a superior Federal Agency who doesn’t buy into Red’s schemes. There are still questions swirling about Elizabeth’s husband, is he friend or foe? Lizzie has returned the passports, the guns and the money to the box under her floorboards, with no questions asked – at least not yet.

For heart-pumping fun and a story that keeps you guessing, tune into The Blacklist tonight at 10 PM.
