Writer/Director Darren Aronofsky’s passion project, the dark biblical film Noah, costing more than $160 million and filmed in IMAX, kicked off it’s US debut with Thursday night screenings. The film stars Russell Crowe as Noah, with Jennifer Connelly as his wife. It also stars Emma Watson and Anthony Hopkins.
The youth oriented film Divergent, about a Dystopian future where people are pigeon-holed by personality type, and starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Kate Winslet, did well enough in its first week to get the green-light on a sequel. The film has grossed over $60 million so far.
Rihanna was spotted at Drake’s concert in London this week and partying afterwards at London’s hot-spot night club Tramps.
