Rosie O’Donnell took to Twitter to announce the arrival of her daughter Dakota with wife Michelle Rounds.
“We r thrilled to announce the arrival of r daughter Dakota – #withloveandthanks – AMEN,” she just tweeted alongside a photo of the couple cradling their new baby girl.
Dakota will join O’Donnell’s four other children — Parker, Chelsea, Blake and Vivienne — that she had with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.
Rosie and Michelle married last June, and made it no secret that the two were looking to add to their family.
“She’s trying to get pregnant,” O’Donnell told Dr. Mehmet Oz when he appeared on her former OWN show last January.
I am a bit in shock. I knew she told Dr. Oz back on her show they were trying to get pregnant but Michelle was sick. She has a rare cancer.
No word on whether Michelle carried the baby or it was adopted.
