It was great to get to interview Brianne about making ‘Saving My Baby’, her red hot career, and becoming a new Mom to a baby boy with husband and fellow actor/director Mark Gantt.

What attracted you to this Thriller part?

Brianne Davis. I love working on Lifetime films. Their scripts tend to portray determined, pro-active women who are not waiting around for a man to save them. This film was directed by Michael Feifer who filled the action with intensity and mystery. It was convenient that I filmed during my pregnancy, and most of the story unfolds in Los Angeles and Vegas.

I’m a big fan of Kathleen Quinlan. What was it like to work with Kathleen?

Brianne Davis. Kathleen was an inspiration. Her character is very strong and combative, so it was very intense. I learned a lot.

I know you’ve been stepping behind the camera. What’s that like?

Brianne Davis. I have been directing and producing. I love it. I love creating. I’ve produced produced five films with my production company “Give & Take Productions”, and I’ve directed three features: The Night Story (2016), Deadly Signal (2016) and Transfer.  I also enjoy pitching. My husband Mark Gantt and I have been getting more involved with pitching several series for TV. We are close to getting the green light.

It’s hard to believe you have a new baby. You look great, how do you stay in shape?

Brianne Davis. It’s my job, so it becomes part of your lifestyle. I work out with PILATES for strength and I also do a hard-core DVD workout everyday. Of course I stay away from sugar and bread. I’m from the South, so fried food is always on my mind, but I manage to stay away. Willpower!
