New York City officials don’t take kindly to violation of the open container law nor do they enjoy when you impersonate another citizen. The daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis found this out the hard way as she allegedly was caught drinking in the streets and when confronted, handed the cops a fake ID. A NYPD spokesperson told People that Willis, 20, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Union Square for criminal impersonation and a violation of the open-container law.
The beverage of choice was, as the court report accounts, an 8 oz. Pakastani beer and her fake ID read, Katherine Kelly.
The Brown University student was released Tuesday without bail reports the New York Daily News but her alter-ego, Kelly, will remain in custody. She’ll return to Manhattan Criminal Court on July 31.
