With production of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode 7 now underway, it has been wondered what the JJ Abram’s directed Star Wars universe would look like. Thanks to TMZ.com, they have posted upwards of 45 photos from the set in UAE.
More interesting is the fact it’s very self-evident that Abrams is pushing for more of a return to “practical” special effects and props work with the 7th installment in the Star Wars franchise. Much was made about George Lucas’s decision to make the prequel trilogy solely CGI based effects, and thankfully right off the top, as you can see in these set photos, that won’t be the case with the new trilogy.
