We have been teased now for weeks with posters of Taylor Swift and her celebrity friends for her new video “Bad Blood.” The video is finally here.
The video debuted during the Billboard Music Awards starring the who’s who of Hollywood.
Even though the cameos were very short it’s amazing who’s in the video. You will see Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Hailee Steinfeld, Cara Delevigne, Jessica Alba, Ciney Crawford, Ellen Pompeo and Marsika Hargitay. Taylor named her cats after the characters Ellen and Mariska play on the TV.
The video is futuristic and reminds me of Divergent. The “Bad Blood” videos premise is on what happens when Taylor is double-crossed by Gomez’s character and seeks revenge.
Taylor started announcing cast members for the video on May 7th. I even made a poster with my own character. Taylor stated that each start got to pick the name for their own character.
