Previewing in the Juneteenth Celebration Month is the new cable TV program “The Black-O-Scope Show with Teddy Lane, Jr.,” a mock cable news program that tells the truth in a satirical, humorous way and expands the view of the African American community by showcasing a wide range of conservative opinions.
The groundbreaking new cable TV program “The Black-O-Scope Show with Teddy Lane, Jr.” will be broadcast on Newsmax TV on June 13 and 14, 2015. Saturday – June 13, 2015 at 8:00 AM EST, Saturday – June 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM ESTSunday – June 14, 2015 at 8:00 AM EST. Local schedules should be checked for exact broadcast times.
Featured in “The Black-O-Scope” pilot are two delightful personalities, in addition to the charming host. One is the quirky, all-knowing NASA JPL Satellite, Jason 2, who provides the viewer with “just the facts ma’am” and whose voice is narrated by William Bell. The other is the show’s guest performer, Oya Thomas, the gifted author, singer/songwriter, actress and spiritual mentor who discusses her new book “The 5 Star Points for Success” and performs an inspiring song from her new album “Spirit of Oya.”
The creators of “The Black-O-Scope” are Bayer Mack and Frances Presley Rice of Block Starz Music Television LLC, the company which produced the Black Reel Award nominated documentary “Oscar Micheaux: The Czar of Black Hollywood” now available on DVD on Amazon. The show’s Producer is Bayer Mack and the Executive Producer is Frances Presley Rice. The writing team consists of Frances Presley Rice, Teddy Lane, Jr. and Pamela Perry. The other key team members are Associate Producer Hal Croasmun, Supervising Producer Gary A. Lowe, Post-production Manager Mike Fox, Music Composer Nick Jones and Artist Julie Anderson. “The Black-O-Scope” was filmed in West Hollywood at West LA Production Studios.
