With plenty of Hollywood support, the Los Angeles Kings obtained the most impressive trophy in all of sports since they were included into the NHL 45 years ago. Monday night the Kings claimed the trophy for  Los Angeles as they cleared out the New Jersey Devils impressively winning the game 6 and therefore the best of seven series,  6-1.

The Staples Center was packed to the brim with ecstatic fans hopeful for the Cup, and they watched King’s Captain Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, and Trevor Lewis all net goals in the first period to catapult them to their eventual victory. While the Kings took a 3-0 series lead and had a chance to win the cup in front of the home crowd on Wednesday they fell. Another blow to the team happened Saturday as the lost in New Jersey. The series at 3-2 and the game taking place in LA set the stage for a climatic 6-1 victory to claim the cup.

The game was not without its usual star-studded audience. That’s right Hollywood came out and those in the Game 6 crowd included; Matthew Perry, Ellen Page, Zac Efron, James Gandolfini, David and Victoria Beckham, Colin Hanks, American Idol creator Simon Fuller, Dave Grohl, LL Cool J, Melanie Griffith, David Boreanaz, Alyssa Milano, House creator David Shore and John Ondrasik.

Also showing their support throughout the Kings destined playoff run was Will Ferrell, he even put together a video before Game 4  showing how much he supports our Kings.
