Katie Holmes filed for divorce from film mega star Tom Cruise approximately 2 weeks ago and she will now, as recognized by the law, begin the next chapter in her life. Divorce proceeding rarely advance as quickly as this one but none the less the divorce papers were signed. This kind of efficiency one would think would require excellent lawyers that could only be compared to ship captains who’ve navigated the thunderous waters of divorce before.
This was absolutely the case as Tom’s group of attorneys received high praise from Holmes’ lawyer, “We thank Tom’s counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution,” said Jonathan Wolfe to People.
What’s next for Katie? Time with her daughter Suri. Tom Cruise will continue onward as he does best, churning out another blockbuster movie called Jack Reacher, watch the trailer below.
