This season of Nurse Jackie was amazing! It never disappoints. They are already stepping it up for next season with a big announcement.
Emmy Award-winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk) is joining the cast of NURSE JACKIE, the SHOWTIME comedy about a flawed emergency room nurse. Shalhoub stars in a recurring role as Dr. Bernard Prince, a new ER doctor who has a great bedside manner, a special touch with his boss, Gloria Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith), and who offers Jackie something she desperately needs – a friend. NURSE JACKIE also stars Merritt Wever, Dominic Fumusa, Paul Schulze, Betty Gilpin, Ruby Jerins, Stephen Wallem, Mackenzie Aladjem and Peter Facinelli.
Best known to television audiences as the obsessive-compulsive detective Adrian Monk, in Monk, a role which earned him four straight Emmy nominations and three wins, Tony Shalhoub has been starring in hit television and movie projects for years, including the long-running sitcom Wings, andMen in Black and Men in Black II.
It sounds pretty good. We will have to wait till next year to see it.
