James Corden invites Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to carpool around Los Angeles, which leads to a wrestling match and the debut of “Heemi Lheemey.”
RHCP rocks out in the car to “Give It Away,” “Under the Bridge,” “Californication,” their new single “Dark Necessities”, oh and of course a song from the musical Oliver! Kiedis and Flea also sing a song they wrote when they were 15 years old called “Heemi Lheemey”.
A conversation about wrestling prompts them to get out of the car where Corden and Kiedis face off. Suddenly the two are in wrestling mode on a stranger’s lawn.
Then, in a talk about the band being a member of wearing no clothes, they proceeded to start taking clothes off.
The ride ended with them singing of “By the Way” and Corden telling them, “I never expected this to be as fun as it has been. People say ‘don’t meet your heroes,’ but I don’t think they’ve ever met the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”
