Amber Theoharis and Pooch Hall join forces for WinQuik!
WinQuik is a really fun trivia game you can download for free on the app store. There are weekly live quizzes at 830 pm EST / 530 pm PST hosted by Pooch Hall.
There are other quizzes you can do at anytime.
Are you familiar with Pooch? He played in Ray Donovan. Pooch plays Mickey Donovan’s (Jon Voight) illigitimate son, Ray Donovan’s (Liev Schreiber) half brother who boxes on the show. Pooch also boxes in real life.
Pooch also starred in The Game on BET.
The app is run by Amber Theoharis who is known in the sports world. She’s been a sports reporter on FOX, NFL Network, you name it.
WinQuik is a quiz you can play and has 10 questions and it’s all about beating the clock. It’s free and people can win money daily.
They have quizzes for things like “The Color Green” or NBA in the 90s and also pop culture like famous siblings. They are going to be having celebrity cameos soon as well.

What drew you to this innovative concept?
Pooch Hall: I loved the idea of bringing something fresh that connects the community. You can have fun, test your knowledge, learn, compete, become a trivia master, challenge friends, connect with people all over the world, and win money!
I also jumped at the opportunity to work with Amber Theoharis. She is a great leader, collaborator and partner filled with pro-active energy!
Will you be inviting guest celebrities to participate?
Pooch Hall: The WINQUIK™ APP will surprise trivia fans with special appearances from SUPER BOWL CHAMPION James Jones, NBA Hall of Famer DOMINQUE WILKINS, and former NFL Quarterback and Current NFL Analyst DAVID CARR.
Green Bay Packers Super Bowl champion James Jones is joining the challenge as part of a “Green” themed quiz on Saturday, January 16th to coincide with his team competing in the NFL divisional round that weekend. All of the 10 questions posed to contestants will all have something to do with the color green.
“You can’t have a quiz on the color green without giving a shout out to my Green Bay Packers,” said James Jones. “I’m competitive. I love playing games and I can’t wait to see how many people can beat the clock when I deliver my questions.”
Another professional athlete, NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkens, is participating in a special ‘90s NBA’ themed quiz on Sunday, January 17th, 2021. Wilkens formerly played with the Atlanta Hawks and is known for being the best dunker in NBA history. Dominique will be showing off his clue skills and multi-talents in his special cameo.
Former Texans and Giants NFL star Quarterback and analyst David Carr is appearing as part of WinQuik’s ‘NFL Quarterbacks’ trivia on January 24th which is also Championship Sunday.
Not to get off the subject but I know your latest film ‘CHERRY’ starring Tom Holland is being released soon. Can you share a little about that project?
Pooch Hall: I play an Army sergeant who recruits Tom Holland. It’s a crime-drama directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the same Russo brothers who directed the Avengers. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Nico Walker. The Tom Holland character is based on Nico Walker’s life. It deals with an Army Medic with PTSD who gets addicted to opioids and has to start robbing banks to pay for his habit. It opens in theatre’s February 26 and it will be aired on APPLE TV beginning March 12.
