Emmys 2016 Nominations List: Game of Thrones and People v. O.J. Lead Pack and Some Notable Snubs

emmys-nominations-list-2016

Nominations for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday by Anthony Anderson (ABC’s black-ish) and Lauren Graham (of Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival), and HBO’s Game of Thrones led the pack with 23 total nominations, including for best drama and with three supporting actress contenders.

UnReal has gotten so much critical acclaim including a Peadbody Award. The show received an acting nomination, Constance Zimmer got a Supporting Actress nom – UnReal should have gotten more.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah – Now that Jon Stewart has left the show isn’t as relevant this year.

 – The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons has won four Emmy’s and this morning didn’t receive anything.

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee – The freshest late night show on TV and the only one front by a woman was nakedly empty handed except for a Writing nomination – and that’s just wrong.

Christian Slater – He won a Golden Globe for his Mr. Robot role but the Heathers alum was unplugged today even though the show and lead Rami Malek did get nominations.

Last but not least where is Orange is the New Black?
