MGM has announced they are going to be remaking the 1988 comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” with Rebel Wilson.
Steve Martin and Michael Caine co-starred in the original “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” which follows two con men trying to swindle a heiress out of her money.
The updated remake brings con artistry to the 21st century , two female scam artists, one low rent and the other high class, compete to swindle a naive tech prodigy out of his fortune.
Wilson is also attached to star in a remake of the Goldie Hawn movie “Private Benjamin.”
The movie has also been seen on Broadway.
No word yet when the movie will make it to the big screen.
