Alex Trebek Hospitalized

Special Correspondent: James Jewett

Game show host, Alex Trebek (71) was committed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday after suffering a “mild heart attack,” so says The Hollywood Reporter.

His mustache is legendary, in the same Hollywood famous mustache club for men with Tom Selek. His career as the host for  Jeopardy! is also legendary in the same class as The Price is Right‘s Bob Barker. As history does repeated itself in most cases there is no reason to think that Trebek will not be returning to his post. He suffered a heart attack in December 2007 and within weeks was back giving contestants answers in exchange for questions.

Taping for the newest season begins in July and Alex returning is looking favorable as his representative spoke to ABC news saying,

“Alex is up and about and in good spirits while doctors complete their testing at Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute, he has been moved to a regular room today and looks forward to returning home as soon as his doctors give their approval.”

This will be Jeopardy!‘s 29th season.
