HBO debuted their newest series this past Sunday and it reigned in at 3rd among series debuts behind Boardwalk Empire which gathered 4.8 million viewers and Game of Thrones which clocked in at 2.2 million. Newsroom captured 2.2 million.
The show stars Jeff Daniels who plays Will McAvoy an explosive news anchor who is backed by the brilliant writing of Aaron Sorkin who developed the screenplay for The Social Network. HBO released the series premiere online on YouTube and many other streaming sources.
