Alexandra Paul and Linden Ashby team up as husband and wife to play new adoptive parents in ‘Escaping My Stalker’, Linden’s TV directorial debut on LIFETIME.

After being rescued from a dangerous life on the streets, 17-year-old Taylor now lives as the adopted daughter of Larry and Sandy Stewart. But things are about to take a nefarious turn, as a mysterious threat is developing against the family.

Alexandra Paul is well known for her role in the Baywatch TV series from 1992 -1997, starring as Lt. Stephanie Holden, numerous TV and Independent Film roles and her extensive charity work with ‘Food Not Bombs‘ that feeds the homeless in LA and ‘Animals Have Rights’ to alleviate animal suffering.

Thank you Alexandra Paul, for taking the time to speak with me about ‘Escaping My Stalker‘, your plant-based lifestyle, ‘Switch4Good Podcast’, and numerous charity endeavors!

Why were you inspired to take the Mom part in ‘Escaping My Stalker’ ?

Alexandra Paul. Linden Ashby! Linden and I had already acted together as husband and wife, but I was excited to work with Linden on his TV feature directorial debut. I knew it would be a positive experience because of his ability to engage with the actors rather than being focused entirely on technical issues like pacing and scene shots. I also was drawn to the script by Stephen Romano and the fact that I could play a Mom. I enjoy Mother acting roles, and this part offered a unique Mother-Daughter relationship with a rich, layered part.

I have to ask, what is a Health coach?

Alexandra Paul. I am a certified Health and Wellness professional! I work with clients to instill healthy eating habits and integrate positive feelings about personal appearance and looks. I have a Podcast ‘Switch4Good’ with Olympic medalist Dotsie Bausch. Together, we take listeners on a transformative journey to optimal health and performance through plant-based eating. We interview expert nutritionists, pro-athletes, innovative thought-leaders, physicians, and plant-based celebrities. Through shared experiences, we explain how to optimize your health and wellbeing, and pave a path for a more meaningful life. Get inspired and join the ‘Switch4Good’ revolution!

I know you work with feeding the homeless. Did the homeless issue draw you into participating in ‘Escaping My Stalker’?

Alexandra Paul. The homeless concept is more of a backdrop for the film, not the theme. But yes, the homeless are a big part of my life. I feed the homeless every week at the L.A. Salvation Army. I work with a charity called ‘Food Not Bombs’ that was first initiated in Boston in the seventies. It brings awareness to people in our country that are hungry, rather than building up an arsenal of military weapons.

I know you are a Vegan. Do you feed Vegan meals to the homeless?

Alexandra Paul. Absolutely! Our meals are delicious and take advantage of the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. We serve foods like Hummus and Beyond Meat Sausages!

What are the other social issues you are involved with?

Alexandra Paul. I work with ‘Animals Have Rights’ that strives to alleviate animal suffering.  I am most passionate about Climate Change and speaking about overpopulation. The stabilization of the population is vital for the survival of the planet.

What’s next for actress Alexandra Paul?

Alexandra Paul. I have a Family Drama coming up called ‘The Last 48’.

Don’t miss Alexandra Paul in ‘Escaping My Stalker’, also starring Actor/Director Linden Ashby, Mariette Hartley, Ezmie Garcia and Pedro Correa – January 1, 2020, at 8 pm ET/PT on LMN!

The key to living a full, healthy, and joyous life lies within the foods we eat—and our relationship to those foods. Health isn’t accurately measured by the circumference of your waist nor how much you can bench press; true vitality is measured by how you feel—not just physically, but deep within.

Thank you Alexandra!
