It’s my birthday! I made it another year! It’s been a crazy year but I’m here. As a kids you always think I can’t wait till I’m 16 so I can drive, I can’t wait till I’m 18 so I’m legal, I can’t wait till I’m 21 so I can drink. Well now, I am the big 3-0 where did time go? My cousin told me today 30 is the new 20.
When I was a kid all I dreamt about was coming to LA and living the “Hollywood Life”. Don’t know what that means really but I wanted it. First, I wanted to be an actress, then a casting director, then a reporter, then an entertainment reporter and that’s where I still am mixed with some social media. I believe everyone has a story to tell. I love talking to people. I walk in to restaurants and talk to the waiters or on the Subway in New York and talk to everyone around me. I love hearing what people have to say.
In the next year I want to grow MizHollywood.com even more. We have been able to put together a good team and I want to thank all of them for all their hard work. This is my dream and they are helping me live it. Let’s grow it even more. I want bigger interviews and people to believe in what we are doing. Positive is ok we don’t need to draw on people’s faces and make fun of them. I love pop culture and the art too much to do that. It’s about the work and what they do let’s have fun.
My family has helped me so much and been a light at the end of the tunnel for me you can never fully do something on your own, I believe. They pick up the phone when I need them, they listen to me when I am crying or need advice. Life can be crazy and it’s always great to have good people in your corner. I’m lucky to have a handful of those.
To all of you I say thank you. Thank you for helping me make it another year.
