Long time democratic activist is at it again. The Oscar winning actor will host a 150-seat, $40,000-a-plate fundraising dinner for the president’s re-election campaign. Clooney’s co-host for the evening is CEO of Dreamworks Animation, Jeffrey Katzenberg.

George Clooney has always been known to be a supporter of the Democratic Party. In 2004 he publicly supported John Kerry by donating to his campaign.

Mitt Romney has also gained the support of many face melting hard rocking individuals such as Gene Simmons, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.
