You may be thinking Greyson Chance sounds familiar. Greyson made an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres show where he wowed the world with his vocal. Now, he’s all grown up and going on tour.
Singer, songwriter and recording artist Greyson Chance is finalizing the European leg of The Portraits World Tour and gearing up to return to the U.S.! Following stops all across Asia, Berlin, Dublin, London, Amsterdam and more, the North American leg will kick off on October 31st in Orlando, FL at Soundbar. The entire six-month trek will wrap on January 24th in Bellingham, WA.
Notable U.S. stops in the fall include New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin and Oakland (full routing below). The tour will continue to support Chance’s latest full-length effort, portraits, which has received wide critical praise since its March release, with Billboard hailing the work as “purposeful” and “distinguished.” Included on the tour’s set list will be Chance’s current critically acclaimed single “shut up,” which to date has accumulated more than 20 million streams across all digital platforms, and was recently performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as well as ABC’s hit show Strahan and Sara. Chance recently released “white roses” exclusively with PAPER Magazine and the music video garnered Chance his first directing credit.
A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, Greyson Chance came into the national spotlight in 2010, after an unforgettable performance of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” was viewed by over 60 million people on YouTube. What followed was a plethora of national television appearances and world tours. Greyson came out publicly in 2017 and uses his platform to be a resource and champion for others in the LGBTQ community.
Greyson has recently signed with Arista Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment and will release new music this fall through the top of 2020.
