The Best of Me. DVD. IMDB Pro-rating 6.5. Adaptation from the Nicholas Sparks novel, old sweethearts return to the town they grew up in and find that they are still in love but the old hauntings that kept them apart before are still very present in the form of friends and family. James Marsden, Michelle Monaghan and Luke Bracey star.
Starred UP. DVD. IMDB Pro-rating 7.5. This British prison drama is being lauded as one of the best as a young criminal is given time and ends up in the same prison where his father is incarcerated. Jack O’Connell, Rupert Friend and Ben Mendelsohn star.
The Overnighters. DVD. IMDB Pror-ating 7.7. This award-winning documentary is about a North Dakota Pastor who offers a roof to homeless men seeking jobs in the oil fields.
