Damien Chazelle’s drama follows the story of Andrew Neiman, a 19-year-old jazz drummer who is living his dream at Shaffer Conservatory, the best music school in the U.S. Portugal’s Hotel da Música is adorned from entrance to bed with musical notes and classical instruments. Even the lamps in this 4-star hotel will have you thinking soft melodies. So, while you can’t learn a new instrument overnight, there are hotels that will give visitors sweet sounding dreams.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

The drama, set between the first and second World Wars, follows the adventures of legendary concierge, Gustave H, and lobby boy, Zero Moustafa, at the famous Grand Budapest Hotel. While the movie is set in the fictional Republic of Zubrowka, much of the filming took place in Görlitz, Germany.  Located in the charming Görlitz Old Town, the Emmerich Hotel Görlitz will provide visitors with an authentic Zubrowka experience.

NYC’s The Pearl hotel provides visitors with the true NYC, Times Square experience, similar to Riggan’s.
