An intelligence officer in North Africa (Brad Pitt), in 1942, falls for a woman from the French Resistance (Marion Cotillard) and there love is put to the test when the reunite in London. Lizzy Caplan, Jared Harris, and Mathew Goode also star.

Marla Mabrey (played by Lily Collins) is a devout Baptist starlet under contract to Howard Hughes. Hughes has strict rules that there is no dating or mingling between cast and crew, but Marla falls for a co-star (Alden Ehrenreich) and complicates things for the eccentric millionaire. Alec Baldwin and Haley Bennett also star.
