British-Australian actress, NAOMI WATTS, has scored a 2013 nomination for BEST ACTRESS, playing Maria in THE IMPOSSIBLE. A film based on a families real life experience surviving the Thailand Tsunami.
In 1980, along with her BFF-NICOLE KIDMAN, was inspired to become an actress after seeing the film, FAME.
This is Naomi’s second nomination for BEST ACTRESS. The first being along side SEAN PENN, for 21 GRAMS.
Proud to wear the “QUEEN OF RE-MAKES” crown, Naomi has starred in Peter Jackson’s, KING KONG, the PAINTED VEIL with EDWARD NORTON, and the upcoming THE BIRDS.
Busy Mom to Alexander and Samuel, with long time partner, LIEV SCHREIBER, Naomi finds time to represent the UN, as Goodwill Ambassador for HIV/AIDS.
