The 21 year old American Idol heartthrob underwent the surgery he has been needing since the beginning of the popular singing competition. Yesterday Phillips went under and remained in surgery for six and half hours reports TMZ. The procedure was to remove kidney stones that were far to large to pass.
After recovery Phillips will have the Idol’s Live Tour to look forward to which will begin itself July 6 in Detroit. Phillips’ Father is very excited for the world to hear his son perform as in a talk with People he warned everyone that what they heard on Idol was not the full power of his talented son’s voice, “[America’s] just seen a glimpse of what Phillip can do, we can’t wait to get him well and 100 percent and really see how he can perform.”
