The young star on hit show Modern Family, has been fighting off pain related to her kidney dysplasia. As the say in acting “the show must go on.” Sarah Hyland, 21, who plays the character Haley Dunphey has been battling through some kidney related pain while filming episodes for the latest season.
Hyland told US Weekly
“I try and make it so that Haley is always sitting down.If you notice, she’s always sitting down a lot…or leaning and texting. When Haley walks up the stairs that’s like my work out for the week.”
As the pain increased for the young TV star, a transplant became a very real option. A match was found not to far away with actor and father, Edward James Hyland. They were a perfect match. The surgery was done last month and both Hylands are recovering.
